Hey Speedheads!
Yesterday I discovered a new genre, that is not only a musical genre but also a visual one, and a meme. You may have heard of it, it's Black Midi.
Basically, you create extremely complex midi files with often more than a million notes in it (I tried to do so, my computer didn't like it so much)
And then you let the music be played on Synthesia. It is absolutely unique in it way of composition and it's by definition extreme music.
To be honest, since I discovered that shit I only listen to that!
Another awesome thing about this genre is that it's the first time since classical music that a song can have a different sound, depending on the support.
In classical music a piece can have different sound in an opera, a concert room, and with different maestros. And here, the final song is made not on wave or something, but on midi. It's usually played on Synthesia but even Synthesia has different piano sounds in it. The concept of this is awesome.
